The Dress Up Tenten Contest!

Since many of our members seem to want to draw our lovely brunette in some equally wonderful clothing, Tentens-Revenge will be holding a contest just for that! ;D

The basic idea behind this contest will be drawing Tenten in some sort of non-ninja outfit. In other words, we want to put Tenten in a special outfit, instead of an everyday ninja outfit! Of course, you also are free to style her hair in a different way than her usual two bun style. So let your creativity flow and enjoy this simple theme as much as you would like.

Examples  of what you can dress our weapons mistress up in
A Cute Chinese dress
Clothing from Another Time Period; such as any country’s 1700s, 1800s, 1900s, Medieval Period Dress, Victorian Dress, etc
A Pretty Kimono
Fun Modern Day Clothing
  Her Wedding Dress

Your Other favorite Non-Naruto-Anime/Game/Movie/Cartoon/Etc  Character’s Clothing

Underwear DOES NOT count as “outfits” eligible for this contest.
Due to member requests, swimsuits are now allowed. HOWEVER, PLEASE REMEMBER TENTEN IS A MINOR. Do not use the swimsuit option to make an overtly sexual picture of her, because that could be reported to the admins and possibly removed from the site.


TEN SIMPLE RULES OF THE DRESS UP TENTEN CONTEST

1. This contest only accepts fanart entries made entirely by our members. We apologize to the fanfiction writers for this. We hope to include you all in the next contest though c:
2. All entries must have been made for this contest, so no artwork made before June 8th, 2012 will be accepted.
3. All entries must have Tenten dressed up in some outfit that is NOT a Naruto ninja outfit (this means any of her outfits or any of her fellow Naruto character’s outfits) or underwear of any sort. Remember, you also can style Tenten’s hair in a different way than her usual double-bun look.
4. All entries should be mainly focused on TENTEN. Other characters (or pairing hints) may be included, however it is not recommended (unless it is ambiguous, ie a normal wedding ring would be acceptable if she is drawn in her wedding gown).
5. Every individual is allowed to submit three entries. All entries should be submitted to deviantART. Please include in the author’s note of your deviantion, that this is a contest entry for our contest.
6. Don’t forget to submit the entry to the group! We have an official folder to keep all the awesome entries in tentens-revenge.deviantart.com…
7. ABSOLUTELY NO HATE IS ALLOWED IN THE ENTRIES. This includes racism, homophobia, sexism, hate towards any other character/pairing or etc, and means it is NOT allowed in the entries. At Tentens-Revenge, we do not support bringing Tenten up by bringing another down.
8. All entries cannot break any of deviantART’s rules. This means no art theft, nudity, extreme gore, extreme sexual themes and anything else against deviantART policy.
9. All entries are due by July 20th, 2012. We may have an extension if the people ask for one.
10. Most importantly, have fun making your entry!

As some of you know, for this contest we originally did not allow Tenten in a swimsuit to be considered eligible for this contest. This rule was stated because there is a fine line between "outfit" and "not-outfit", and I put swimsuits in the "not-outfit" section for various reasons.

However, quite a few members approached me because they disagreed with the rule. Since enough of you members came to me asking for the rule to be changed, this rule has now be omitted. Entries showing Tenten in a swimsuit are now welcome to the contest. We have also edited the submission amount to rectify this sudden change with the rules. Every member is now allowed three submissions for the contest, so anyone who met the limit before and originally wanted to draw Tenten in a swimsuit can do so now.

However, please REMEMBER DEVIANTART'S RULES.
FAQ #248: Are there restrictions on art using children or teenagers (fictional or otherwise)?
Swimsuit pieces are often turned into overly sexual pieces that could be removed by a site admin if reported. Do not use this rule change to submit pieces to the contest that could be against deviantART policy. If too many people attempt this, we will remove the rule change and put it back into the original "no swimsuits allowed" mode.

UNDERWEAR IS STILL NOT ALLOWED AND THAT RULE WILL NOT BE CHANGED. So please don't ask
